Things You Should Know
Watermill Cottage is a warm and welcoming escape from everyday life. Our guests range from those seeking a peaceful solo holiday, families who want time and space to be together and groups of friends who want to reconnect and relax.
Before you go ahead and book your getaway, here are a few things you should know.
- We absolutely welcome long-term lets. Just get in touch to talk to us about staying for a while.
- Children of all ages are of course welcome – we do mainly host families after all. The only thing to note is the mezzanine sleeping platform is not suitable for youngsters. There is a child gate onto the entrance of the mezzanine.
- The cottage is accessible for elderly or those with limited mobility. We have step free access into the cottage from the parking area and we have one ground floor bedroom with en suite shower room, plus the main bathroom is also on the ground floor. However please note that doorways are standard width and the cottage is not equipped with facilities such as grab rails in the bathrooms.
- Due to the nature of the property, the location and other guests Watermill Cottage is not suitable for hen or stag parties or events.
- Watermill Cottage is a no-smoking property.
- Pets are welcome (by prior approval) but we do ask for a £30 supplement per pet. Maximum of 2 dogs per booking.
- Check in time is after 5pm and check out is always by 9:30am.
