It’s ideal for scenic drives, bracing seaside walks, mountain hikes, days at the beach, meals out and stumbling across hidden cultural gems.

You will be just minutes away from Rhosneigr Beach, Trearddur Bay Beach and Porth Dafarch Beach to catch some sea air. Fancy taking on the 125-mile Angelsey Coastal Path? It’s just minutes away.

A little further but still just a short drive you’ll experience the Dingle Peninsula (Nant y Pandy) Nature Reserve, Anglesey Model Village & Gardens and the Plas Menai National Watersports Centre. There’s also the Anglesey Sea Zoo, the nearby 18 links golf course and trips available to Puffin Island. The town of Beaumauris near the Menai Straits boasts a Victorian pier, a medieval castle, a courthouse and Conwy Castle is also nearby.

Watermill Cottage is also within easy reach of Snowdonia national park where you can have a go at zip wiring and other white-knuckle adventures.

If you seek a bit of culture, you won’t be far from the historic Caernarfon Castle, Holyhead Maritime Museum, the Museum of Childhood and the unique Barclodiad y Gawres Burial Chamber. Several National Trust properties are also within an hour’s drive.
